Special Folds

I did a little something different for these cards.  The one on the left  is folded in a "Z" fold.  Only half of the front is covered with the fold.  So when the card is shut, you can still see both the multicolored circle side and the pink side.  The "thanks" is only attached to the left side of the card.

The card on the right was inspired by a very talented artist and consultant Lisa Stenz.  This is my version.  When the card is open, the printed piece with the flowers is the only part that opens.  You can make that piece any size you want.  And of course the flowers are from the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.

If you have any questions, please contact me.  We can also make cards like this at a workshop and you can earn free products...just ask me how!!

Thanks for looking!!

Ariana

Isn't that a pretty name?  That's the name of this paper pack.  This too is going to retire at the end of July.
The colors are Ariana Coral, Ariana Green, Ariana Grey, Crystal Blue, Outdoor Denim and White Daisy.  Beautiful colors for a summer layout or card.  And the flower on the front of this card is just cut out of the paper.  So easy.  A couple of Base and Bling Flowers and Sparkles round it out.

Hope your summer is easy, breezy!

Time is running out!

Don't miss out on the July Stamp of Month.  I used it to make these cards the other day.  The "thank you" is from that set.  Circus Alphabet (S1407) is only $5 with a purchase of $50 in great products from the Spring/Summer Idea Book.
The card on the right is also a SNEAK PEAK of the greatness to come!  A new stamp set and fabulous markers.

Here are three more I made using the Stamp of the Month along with the "SNEAK PEAK" set.  Don't you just love it?

And don't forget about the fabulous Embossing Folders we have now.  You can add so much texture to your artwork with these.  Did you notice the paper ribbon I made?  Just do an accordion fold on the end of a piece of paper and you can create a different look too.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Limited crafting space...

So I never actually had unlimited space for crafting...but before my babies and our move I did have a whole room to myself!! Now I currently have part of my closet and I do all of my crafting on the kitchen table. Not quite the same, but I am hoping to have more space once we move again. But, even though I am limited, I am finding it has forced me to be much more organized and to know where things are so I can find them quickly. The system that has worked best for me is to keep all of the most used supplies in one of the large CTMH organizers and my current project in a ziplock bag so I can quickly throw it in there when it is time to eat (or use play dough). The large organizer is just big enough to hold all of the blocks, adhesive, embellishments, and a few ink pads, but it still fits nicely in my side of the closet. And I can stack it on top of the other three that hold stamp sets. Don't tell Kyle, but they each easily hold over 40 stamp sets when you alternate them. No matter the size of your crafting area or house, I hope you can find some time to create and make something work for you!! What is a way you have found to work with a small space?

While we were there we got to see and hear about tons of new products from Close to my Heart. Check back to see more soon.

Summertime?

Not sure what it is, but for some reason I seem to scrapbook Christmas pictures in the summer!  Here is another layout I made with some leftover Sparkle and Shine paper.  I used Washi tape for the fun tag border and also for the background on the right page.  The washi tape gives it a fun added dimension and it was super fast.  I love that stuff.  Click here to see the fun washi tape that Close to my Heart offers...happy crafting!
