More paper from the Yuletide Carol Paper Pack  Isn't it pretty?  And more Yuletide Carol Complements and pieces from the Assortment.  There is some Shimmer Trim on the second page
as well as a stamped snowman from the Christmas Past (D1610) Stamp Set.  I will add my journaling to this layout and be all done.  Memories perserved!

Oldies but Goodies

Do you remember when you purchased the Wishes Card Making Book?  How great it was to have all of those patterns at your disposal?  I hope you have been using it all of the time.  It's a great resource!
My mom has been making cards from the Greetings Card Workshop in Wishes, and I thought I would share them here.
There are sixteen cards that you can make with one piece of B&T and two pieces of Cardstock.  She used a retired paper pack with various stamp sets and embellishments.
The cards go together really quickly and as you can see, they can be jazzed up anyway you want.
As easy or as detailed as you desire.  Here are eleven of the cards and I will share the rest later in the month.  If you are looking for fast and easy way to make your Christmas cards this year, this is a great way to do it.  Happy Creating,

Joy!

These are last year's Christmas pictures at the in-laws.  I always enjoy seeing pictures of the kids and how they have changed from last year.  We had such a wonderful time, laughing, visiting and enjoying time spent together.
This is a two page layout using the Yuletide Carol Paper Pack.  The colors of this pack are Ruby and New England Ivy, with a little Champagne and Black thrown in.  With just some journaling added, my layouts will be done.
I add some of the embellishments from the Yuletide Carol Compliments.  The girl carrying the tree, a bunch of ivy and the banner are all from the set.  I stamped JOY from the Noel Stamp Set (C1598) and also used Gold Metal Shapes and Glitter Gems from the Yuletide Carol Assortment.  All coordinated to make assembly easy.

Christmas Morning

Just trying to catch up with last year's holiday photos.  This is Snowhaven with the Cricut Artbooking Cartridge.
I love how easy pages go together when you have overlays like this.  We had so much fun watching the paper fly as the packages were opened.

November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog and the November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  If you have come from Pam's blog, you are on the right track.  If you get lost along the way, please check HERE for the complete list of hoppers.

This month's stamp set is called It's The Little Things (S1411)

My first two cards were made using the colors of the Pathfinder Paper Pack: Goldrush, Lagoon, Glacier, Autumn Terracotta, Olive and Chocolate.  I have fallen in love with this set.  Layering the flowers really makes them really pop.  And did you notice the white on white card?  The top piece is popped up a bit.  The card on the right is a 3x3 card.  Just a small little gift card.

These little cards are just 3x3s also.  Quick and simple with three colors of ink to add dimension.  We all need that fast little card to add to a gift or to slip onto someones desk or in a bag.

This is a set of 15 stamps I think you will really love.  Ask me how you can get yours for just $5.

Now hop on over to Brenda's Blog to see what she has created.  Enjoy the journey.  I hope it inspires you to think about the "little things"

A Day at Mom's

Usually, around the first week of October, I go to my mom's to attend the Breast Cancer Survivors Brunch with her.  This year, we decided to have our own party at home, just the two of us.
We scrapped and made cards the whole day and got quite a few things done.  Here is a layout that I made while I was at her house.  I used the Pathfinding Paper Pack with these fall pictures.  I love how I can cut out shapes and words with our Cricut Cartridges.  I tied Baker's Twine on the branches and added Gold Sequins for a little shine.
I hope your Fall is going well.  Get out and enjoy the colors of Autumn with family.   Before you know it, the snow will be falling.

This card is a 5x7 and is made on Colonial White Cardstock.  I made the little gold bow by cutting the Gold Shimmer Trim in half and folding it for the loops, then adding the knot and tail over top.

If the Broom Fits....

I love the saying included in the stamp set Halloween Greetings (D1605)  And the witch is a cutie too.  This card was made with several new items.  The new color Thistle is in the Scaredy Cat Paper Pack.  You can get this color in ink or cardstock too.  Halloween Greetings is new, a set of 10 stamps for those spookier stampers out there.  The White Enamel Stars (z2010) come in a pack of 72 with two sizes in the pack.

The Glitter Paper (Z1992) in Purple and the Triangle Border Punch (Z1997) give the card a little glitz.
I just ran the piece of Thistle card stock through the punch and cut a strip of Glitter Paper to adhere to the back.  Just an easy way to add something different.  Here are just a few of the new items in the Annual Inspirations book. Have you tried out your new goodies yet?

Jack's Birthday is coming up!

It has almost been a year already.  So hard to believe that Jack will be turning one soon.  We love the Little Blue Truck books by Alice Schertle.  So.... the theme for his party is Little Blue Truck.  And I just happened to have the perfect stamp set for the occasion.  Fast and Furious (D1541) has two trucks, two cars, words and a tire track.  Couldn't have worked out better.  Now, on to finish up the rest of the party plans.

Celebrate!
